The slidertail-circle, 1/2 after the crown, and 1/4 triple stacks are imperfect because I wanted to preserve playability, as these patterns could be hard to hit, even with no-mod if the player is around the same rank as me. Additionally, I do believe there should be some visual distinction between the stationary points that land on the instrumental after each verse line and the stationary points that are still on the same downbeat as the lyrics.

Playfield usage changes based on the singer

- Intro (instrumental): symmetrical (mostly centre)

- Spraypaint's lines in verses: left

- Mouse's lines in verses: right

- Every second downbeat in verses: centre (if neither sings), left (Spraypaint sings), right (Mouse sings)

- Chorus: no playfield restrictions

Visual style changes based on the singer

- Intro (instrumental): simple linear or complex sliders + mixed grid patterns

- Spraypaint's lines in verses: square/linear circle patterns + angular bezier sliders

- Mouse's lines in verses: hexgrid circle patterns + perfect curved sliders

- Chorus: no visual restrictions

Angling of patterns changes based on the singer

- Spraypaint's lines in verses: 5° counterclockwise lean

- Mouse's lines in verses: 5° clockwise lean

- Everywhere else: No rotation

- Curved sliders can't physically follow these restrictions due to mathematical limitations related to arc length formula

Stationary points in instrumental

- This is used to represent the static feel of the music here

- Does not apply to the ostinatos (which have yellow combo colour) because they are more intense

Special lyric representations

- "Won't" = Spraypaint head slider (becomes more pronounced later because song increases in intensity)

- "Colder" = 1/1 perfect curve slider because taking away details of "Won't" slider gives perfect curve

- "One I need" = 3-slider pattern, increased spacing on second instance because higher intensity at second half of chorus

- "Fix your crown" = 3-slider crown (this one is also exempt from angle and playfield restrictions because "fix your crown" + only lyric that does this after continuing through the 2nd downbeat)

- Ending gap references "gone" and "here" (+ Mouse dies in TNM)

- Final EKG slider references Spraypaint's hospitalisation in TNM 5: All The World & You & Me

Combo colours reference The Nightly Manor

- Primary & secondary colours for Mouse & Spraypaint used for verses, corresponds to which one's singing

- Chorus uses only primary colours

- Other colours are taken from other characters in TNM

Keysounds

I basically edited existing hitsounds by pitching them up/down and adding a resonant frequency through Audacity to give them a 'crystalline' sound. I then made a bunch of different versions that were pitched up/down in accordance with B Major, which allowed me to keysound the whole map. (If you're wondering why I didn't use the broken amethyst minecraft sound effect to keysound the chorus, it's because of copyright, so I decided to be safe and make my own.)

If you're wondering how these keysounds relate to the song at all, you're effectively playing your part of the song as Mouse while Spraypaint plays the ukulele in this song. This is also a reference to The Nightly Manor itself, since Mouse and Spraypaint steal a diamond together in one of the episodes. As a result, I thought this was a creative way to represent the song.
